A Family Christmas, 2010

The Christmas holiday provided a wonderful opportunity to visit with our families  -- we are blessed to have such amazing parents and siblings :-)  We had so much fun, that I forgot to snap more than a couple of photographs of those beautiful moments!

Before attending Christmas Eve services at First United Methodist of Zephyrhills, we drove to Grammie Czap's home.  There, we enjoyed a traditional Polish Christmas Eve meal with Kevin's mom, including a celebration of the Nativity, mushroom soup, and perogies.  It was especially beautiful to continue the traditions Kevin enjoyed as a child with our own growing boy.

After opening presents at home Christmas morning, we headed over Grandmother Slicker's for hugs and Christmas gifts with Quintin's great-grandmother and great-uncle Will Slicker.  Santa had left a gift for Quintin there -- Buzz Lightyear, Woody the Cowboy's best friend!  These Toy Story pals have been close friends of Quintin's ever since ;-)

We next drove to the MacKinnon household to spend some much appreciated family time with Uncle Alex & Aunt Trish, Cousins Lacia and Tyler, Uncle Mike & Aunt Tanya, Cousin Makayla, Uncle Rodney, and Granddaddy and Nana Slicker.

Once we returned home, we set up a web conference with Grammie and Grandpop Smith, Kevin's dad and step-mom.  The experience, as always, was incredibly special -- we are very lucky to be able to see and hear treasured family from hundreds of miles away!

Thank you, Dear Family, for your love and support -- you are each so special!
