Daddy's "Vacation"

Kevin took his first vacation from work the week of Quintin's second birthday. Following is a schedule:
Monday: Started building a vanity for our bathroom (I found a sink top on Craigslist for $20 a few months ago to replace our severely water-stained one, but it was unfortunately too large for the current base).
Tuesday : Pressure washed the back of the house, painted the horses' stalls (which are 12x12x11 ft.).
Wednesday (in a constant, very cold drizzle): Pressure washed the rest of the house & roof (he got the pressure washer, borrowed from Coral & Tom, onto the roof by tying it to himself and hefting it, hanging behind him, up the ladder).
Thursday: Pressure washed the porch, worked further on the vanity, began repainting the entire porch & steps.
Friday: Played with Quintin, helping to celebrate his second birthday! Did trim work for vanity & stained it, finished painting the porch & steps.
Saturday: Mowed two acres worth of yard, weedwacked, helped put up Christmas decorations.
Sunday: Installed vanity, with new faucet & piping, caulked edges, put up new trim, hosted a birthday party for Quintin.

He was absolutely exhausted by Sunday night. He returned to a job he despises Monday morning. My husband, my hero!
