In the two week rush between Quintin's birthday and Christmas day, it was a real blessing to spend a quiet afternoon with the Voorhees/Holden family, decorating Christmas cookies together!
Quintin, Holden and Sarah spent the afternoon decorating cookies that "Auntie" Coral had baked earlier. As you can see in the pictures, all three took the job very seriously -- watching them work with such concentration and pleasure was so fun!
We planned to give them as home-made gifts to the grandparents, but all three had serious colds and were sneezing and coughing all over their lovely creations -- what a great way to guarantee that no one else would try to pilfer their treasures (those beauties were all theirs!). ;-)
